We welcome responsible cyclists and motorcyclists and, with this in mind, we offer a number of unique services and facilities such as secure and covered parking for motorbikes and cycles with ground anchors, alarm and CCTV coverage.
And if you want to leave your motorbike with us, we’ll
be happy take you to and collect you from the International
Ferry Terminal (www.dfds.co.uk).
The Avalon Hotel has recently earned a contract with DFDS Seaways to supply accommodation to visiting motorcyclists from Sweden and Europe.
Guided/Directed Cycle/Motorbike Tours
Michael, the hotel proprietor, is an advanced motorcycle instructor and will be pleased to organise either guided or directed motorcycle tours through Northumberland, the Scottish borders and surrounding areas.
Maps can also be provided.
Formal motorbike training courses are also available.
