The Avalon Hotel can cater for private parties and club/committee meetings.
We are particularly popular for motor cycle club meetings from all over the UK.
For example, regular motorcycle group meetings are held every Wednesday from 7.30pm for GEORDIE MAG, the Blyth and Tyne Motorcycle Action Group. Please feel free to contact Allie on 07803 565559 or at geordiemag@googlemail.com.
And if needed, a large Marquee can be erected in the car park.
Tea, coffee and
buffets can be organised for you too.
Guided/Directed Cycle/Motorbike Tours
The Avalon is one of just a few hotels in the North of
England that welcomes cyclists
and motorcyclists.
Michael, the proprietor, is an advanced motorcycle
instructor and will be pleased to organise either guided
or directed motorcycle tours through Northumberland,
the borders and surrounding areas. Maps
can also be provided.
Formal motorbike training courses are also available.
